MEET YOUR CAPTAIN

CAPTAIN MIKE GRASSO

My name is Captain Mike Grasso I have lived and fished in the Tampa Bay area for 23 years. I have been fishing St Petersburg, Ft. DeSoto, John’s pass, Clearwater and Tampa Bay since I was 6 years old.

I have mastered the inshore fishing spots and would love to check them out with you during one of my inshore fishing charters. I have competed in the Professional Tarpon Tournaments in Boca Grande, FL for 5 years. I take pride in my fishing work, including some of the finest rods and reels I use during my trips right down to the boat I will provide for you.

I would love to take you on your next Tampa Bay fishing adventure!

THE REEL PRO DIFFERENCE

OUR BOAT

At Reel Pro Charter, we fish aboard a 23-foot 1974 Mako, one of the most respected and legendary fishing boat hulls ever built. Known for its solid construction, smooth ride, and proven offshore capability, the classic Mako has earned a strong reputation among serious anglers.

This 23’ Mako was fully restored in 2020, blending the timeless performance of the original hull with modern upgrades focused on safety, reliability, and comfort. The restoration was completed with fishing as the top priority, ensuring a dependable and well-maintained platform for every trip.

The boat features a spacious, open deck layout, giving anglers plenty of room to move around comfortably while fighting fish or relaxing between bites. Its size makes it well-suited for both inshore and near-offshore fishing, offering stability, efficiency, and a smooth ride in a variety of conditions.

Whether you’re an experienced angler or fishing for the first time, our restored 23-foot Mako provides a safe, comfortable, and productive day on the water.
